Don Harrison's...Thoughts about Michigan UpNorth Memories
There is a lot of talk about where "UpNorth" actually is…
It is the place everyone wants to go to escape the pressures
and frantic pace of Life…
But where is "UpNorth" actually?
The Answer: For the most part, is not so much a location as it is
a "State of Mind"...
So how do you know when you've arrived "UpNorth"?
When you feel the cares of the world begin to slip away; When you
begin to breathe a little easier because the air seems purer; When
you notice the sky is bluer, and the pines are greener or taller, the
stars are brighter and people seem to smile a lot more!
Geographically vs. Metaphysically speaking...
you’re probably somewhere North of Clare, Michigan.
But regardless of where you think you are, you
finally have arrived "UpNorth"!
Sure is pretty up here!!!
